I co-owned a small but perfectly formed vintage lifestyle magazine called “Glory Days” for 3 hard but blissful years, in New Zealand up until the middle of 2016. Glory Days got me back into travelling the world – reporting from vintage events in the USA and the UK, and it wasn’t until I returned to these events sans Glory Days that I figured out why started the magazine in the first place.
Stories. The stories of people and places and things that I find interesting. There I was thinking I did it for the glamour! So how to travel and still tell stories? Blogging.
It was actually blogging that launched me into the vintage world ( I was bored and started a blog about wearing vintage 24/7 many years ago) so this is full circle.
My blog is about storytelling, with a focus on the creative, the quirky and the unusual.
